ထာ၀ရကုသိုလ္ [ Charity whose merit lasts forever ]

               ထာ၀ရပုည - ထာ၀ရကုသိုလ္
         
                  အၿမဲတမ္းကုသိုလ္ျဖစ္ေနေသာ ဒါနေျခာက္မ်ိဳးကို ထာ၀ရပုည - ဟုေခၚသည္။

( ၁ ) အာရာမေရာပဒါန = ပန္းဥယ်ာဥ္၊ သစ္သီးဥယ်ာဥ္ စိုက္ပ်ိဳးလွဴဒါန္းျခင္း၊





( ၂ ) ၀နေရာပဒါန = အရိပ္ရေသာအပင္၊ စားသံုးပင္မ်ား စိုက္ပ်ိဳးလွဴဒါန္းျခင္း၊





( ၃ ) ေသတုကာရကဒါန = တံတားခင္း လမ္းေဖာက္၍ လွဴဒါန္းျခင္း၊






( ၄ ) ပပါဒါန = ေရခ်မ္းစင္တည္၍ လွဴဒါန္းျခင္း၊




( ၅ ) ဥဒါပါနဒါန = ေရတြင္း, ေရကန္, ေရေျမာင္းတူး၍ လွဴဒါန္းျခင္း၊







( ၆ ) ဥပႆယဒါန = ေက်ာင္းကန္ အေဆာက္အအံု လွဴဒါန္းျခင္း။


 



Charity whose merit lasts forever     
The six kinds of charitable act that have everylasting benefits are called everylasting charity.
They are ;
1. Setting up gardens and orchards for public use, aramaropadana.
2. Planting shady trees and fruit trees for public use, vanaropadana.
3. Building roads and bridges for public use, setukarakadana.
4. Providing drinking water at the wayside, papadana.
5. Constructing wells, tanks and ditches as means of public water supply, udapanadana.
6. Donation of monastic dwellings, etc., upassayadana.
